Prophet Ezekiel Jesufunmi was born on the 7th of July, 1977 in Kaduna city into the family of late overseer and Deaconess Joash Oshafunmi. He holds a National certificate (NCE) from Federal College of Education Zaria 1995-1999. He further obtained a bachelor's degree in Archeology from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria between 2002-2006. However, being a student in ABU brought about what he often refers to as "a redefining and preparatory season" for his life and ministry. It was in that same institution he met his heartrob Pastor Faith Jesufunmi, with whom he is happily married till today with two lovely children. Ezekiel got born again in the year 1992 and became fervent in the service of the Lord. He was a member of The Apostolic Church being a chorister, where his father was an Overseer. In 1994, two years after he gave his life to Christ, he had his first contact with Dr. John Akpami in a programme by a divine arrangement and got instructed to submit and serve under the ministry of God's servant. He has ever since grown to recognize the voice of God and found clarity of purpose under the ministry of Dr. John Akpami who has been his spiritual father till date. In 1997, He started to have spectacular encounters with the Lord which first began by gaining supernatural wisdom and insight in the study of scriptures. In his words, he describes those seasons thus "as though a personality stood by, explaining scriptures to me in mysterious depths" . He became an ardent student of the bible and grew in the understanding and depth of prayers whilst he continued serving under his spiritual father at Christian Teaching Centre Zaria, as a Worship leader. The ministerial assignment of Prophet Ezekiel Jesufunmi is a product of many encounters. In 2007, he had an encounter which launched him into his first phase of ministry. In the course of seeking the Lord in prayer concerning clarity on his assignment, God spoke these words to His servant. " Bring my people to my presence and teach them worship. You were born for the salvation and deliverance of men". In pursuit of this mandate, he became more committed to the music ministry as he organized musical concerts/outreaches geared towards saving the lost and bringing men deliverance while they are ushered into the atmosphere of worship. It was in that same year that God spoke clearly to his servant during a moment of divine visitation that "Henceforth, you shall see and hear as a prophet" God further furnished his servant with more instructions to "speak to my leaders and the church as a body for I will give you a message in season to them and platforms per season to deliver the message which I have sent you with". This encounter led to an upgrade in his level of operation in the Prophetic office and the fulfilment of this commission physically and online in several places across the globe. The birthing of this current phase of ministerial assignment started in 2008 while still fully engaged with his secular job with stiff restrictions from ittirinary preaching because of the nature of the job. During a Sunday service in Makurdi, Benue state, God instructed His servant in addition to previous instructions to "go and repair battered lives by the teaching of the word and the manifestation of the power of the Holy Spirit (Ezekiel 37:4-6) This resulted in strange prophetic manifestations accompanied by signs and wonders with remarkable testimonies. God further described His mode of operation as that of a potter who remolds battered lives of people, restoring their glory and connecting them to their God ordained destinies. (Jeremiah 18-6) It was this encounter that led to the birth of a structured - bodied ministry called; The Potter's Apostolic Ministries in 2013 which started with a quarterly Prophetic and Intercessors' Summit instructed with an aim to teach and raise intercessors and spiritual watchmen who can guard their space against demonic intrusion. A weekly prayer meeting called ' "Monday Prayers" (now known as Believers' Congress) also started and engineered to set up an intercessory lampstand for the immediate territory and nation(Nigeria) at large. The vision has further broadened into the emergence of a church platform in 2019 called; The Potter's Family Church with the vision of raising icons of all sorts who will become kingdom functionaries bearing the end time revival fire. The ministry having her headquarter church base in Kaduna, Nigeria. The fragrance and impact of the church has not only affected the immediate environment via outreaches; medical, relief materials clothing's have impacted and is still impacting lives across various nations with diverse kinds of testimonies to the glory of God.
